    Wheel of Wisdom Tuesday, May 21st 7:30pm at L'Chaim Center From Ukraine to Israel: Jeff Kaminsky shares his story on evacuations and delivering humanitarian aid, medical supplies & aid to Israel. After the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel on October 7th, Jeff and Project Aid & Rescue (or PAR) shifted their focus to supporting the needs of Israel as they prosecute the war against Hamas. Jeff was contacted on Day 6 of the war, by Israel’s Ministry of Health’s Emergency and Disaster Response Team, to help identify and source critical care medical equipment and supplies. PAR has been working with Israeli doctors, NGO’s and the medical corps of the IDF to save lives thru their “Golden Hour” Initiative that focuses on providing Israeli medics with lifesaving equipment.

    Lag B'Omer Celebration

    Lag B'Omer in partnership with Forest Preserves of Cook County Sunday, May 26th at 7:00pm at River Trail Nature Center Time to bring the community back together in celebration. Gather the family, all ages are welcome. We will have a bonfire, s'mores, music and of course a little learning.
